For added convenience, users have the flexibility to adjust settings and opt for auto-save on every webpage or disable the feature entirely if privacy is a concern. Furthermore, it allows exclusions for specific websites where auto-saving is unnecessary.

While History Book can be utilized as a read-it-later tool, its strength lies in serving as a robust search application.

In terms of privacy, History Book securely stores browsing history on iCloud and maintains a strict no-collection policy for personal data. The application is entirely free from in-app purchases, advertisements, and tracking, following a universal purchase model where users need only make a single purchase to access it across iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
